2023Best Tressed is a hair care brand made for people with natural curly, coily, and kinky hair textures. My goal was to create an iconic and minimal look for this brand, while keeping true to their core values of uplifting black hair and community.





INSPIRATION


Best Tressed's visual identity is inspired by the aesthetics of cinema and the use of graphic design in films/for film promotion. It has strong emphasis on bold titles and carefully chosen black and white photography. It also takes a minimal approach in its website; this room to breathe provides the products and photography the space to speak for themselves.
