Halcyon Serif

Halcyon Serif is a (work in progress) display serif typeface started in a typeface design course in the fall of 2023. I began building the font in Adobe Illustrator using the Fontself plugin, and switched to Glyphs later in the process. Built with sharp, pointed serifs and an angular motif that’s repeated throughout, Halcyon works well at large sizes.
